Another significant fundraiser for the children of Amber Harbour hospice that we’ve had a hand in was the Grand Charity Gala 2017.

The night opened with a performance of actors from the Gdynia’s Music Theatre, followed by a professional Latin American dance presentation, a fashion show by Fashion Art Krajewscy presenting their Abstraction line and Rarytas Live Band concert. Food and refreshments were provided by master Philippe Abraham of Petit Paris and Tomasz Kaniewski – chef of the Mercure Hotel Gdynia. The event’s centerpiece was the auction to support the hospice’s patients.

During the event, we launched the Amber Block Awards (Bryła Bursztynu), granted to people whose work set an example of altruism and dedication to others. Beautiful amber statues were designed by the ART7 studio.

In 2017 the award went to professor Dominik Połoński, a world-famous neurosurgeon with exemptional expertise and dedication in saving human lives.
