We’ve had the privilege to sponsor and co-organize the ‘Autochrome / Triumph of the Color‘ an art exhibition focused on the autochrome – an early technique of image colorization developed in 1903 by the famous Lumière brothers.

The exhibition took place between 1.07 and 24.09.2017 at the Gdańsk National Museum and was accompanied by an extensive educational program presenting the history of photography and cinematography, workshops, movie screenings, and lectures by Dominika Sulińska and dr Witold Kanicki.

Exhibits were provided by Soizic Audouard and Elisabeth Nory. Along with many anonymous works, it included photographs by Alfred Stieglitz, August & Louis Lumière, Leon Gimpel, Paul Haviland, Heinrich Kühn, and Jules Gervais-Courtellemont.
